A Little About Me:
I have been teaching 16 years. This is my third year in Bullard. I have always enjoyed teaching and feel that it is my calling. My husband Chris and I live in Bullard with our two children, Colby 14 and Kelsey 12. We love being a part of this community! I love reading, watching movies and spending time with my family.

A Little About My Classroom:
We will be reading a different novel each six weeks. Each novel will incorporate different genres. I will teach the reading skills required by the state from these novels. Your child will have weekly journals where we will practice vocabulary and skills related to the novel. Each Friday will be test day over vocabulary and comprehension.
Your child will also have a book talk project due at the end of each six weeks. These projects will be worth two test grades. Each six weeks the book talk will be over the genre of the novel we are reading. The project will be different each time.
